Nothing says ‘sassy till I die’ more than someone taking up drumming at the age of 89. Just ask Barbara McInnis (now 90) – she’s letting nothing hold her back.
Just six months after her first lesson, Barbara can be found in Morecombe pubs playing gigs with several bands. Her teacher was none other than the Simply Red drummer Chris Joyce. Wowsers!
