These three StriVectin products were a joyful addition to my skincare routine.
They are the Multi-Action Super C Retinol, the Multi-Action R&R Eye Cream and the Double-Fix for lips, and this was my first foray into StriVectin products, bought for me by a friend. Lovely friend!
Let’s take a closer look.
The Super C Retinol £62
Retinol meets Vitamin C in this lovely serum, which means one thing – brightening and correcting of the skin. The claim is that the serum gives results after just 12 weeks. StriVentin’s NIA-114 (a proprietary form of Niacin) helps with this as it’s designed to brighten. The serum also reduces rough texture, fine lines and increases elasticity. I certainly felt there was an improvement in the texture of my skin.
Use three drops morning and night before your moisturiser.
The Eye Cream £47
StriVectin makes big claims for this product – 100% improvement in crow’s feet fine lines, wrinkles and brightness around the eyes after eight weeks. The key ingredients are NIA-114, dual action peptide complex and mimosa tree extract. Niacin around the eyes is great for brightening the dark circles, and I did see good results starting to show before finishing the pot.
I love that it features an apricot-coloured tint, which acts as a colour corrector and brightener.
It can be used morning and night, preferably as your first step in your routine. Simply tap it in. Feels lovely.
The Double Fix £29.50
This is my favourite product out of these three. It has a plumping treatment at one end and a vertical line treatment at the other.
I saw an improvement in the lines around my mouth from the line treatment – I was on my second tube when I noticed. There was also a difference in the dry skin at the corner of my mouth, which I’m pleased with because the dryness caused a droopy look.
The plumping treatment hydrates the lips, but the plumping action was quite minimal for me.
Using it in the evening was my favourite, but it’s suitable for the morning too, on its own or under other lip products.
I enjoyed using these products, and each made a difference, mainly the lip treatment. I am still using it – on my third tube at the time of writing.
